Attorney Rutman has been designated by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in the interrelated fields of Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law.  

Attorney Rutman designs and implements Estate Plans through the use of wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts,  powers of attorney, gifting programs and other wealth transfer strategies. She  believes her role as an Estate Planning Attorney is to create a plan for her clients that provides for organized and strategic wealth transfer during lifetime and/or at death, while remaining cognizant of the fact that Estate Planning is more than tax mitigation - it is about creating a legacy, providing for family harmony and generating peace of mind. 

Attorney Rutman administers probate and non-probate estates and trusts and guides families, fiduciaries and beneficiaries during the post-death administration process.   She believes that her role as an Estate Administration Attorney is to provide expert guidance during what is often a complicated and challenging time and to make the process as seamless as possible.   

Attorney Rutman graduated from John Carroll University in 1998 (summa cum laude) and from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2001 (cum laude).   She began her career at a small firm in a suburb of Cleveland and was later recruited by a large downtown Cleveland Law Firm.    She has been named an Ohio Rising Star by Superlawyers Magazine. She has been published in The Probate Law Journal of Ohio and the Cleveland Metropolitan Law Journal.   She is a member of the Case Western Reserve University Estate Planning Advisory Council, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Cleveland Estate Planning Council.
